A short experience, but it gives a glimpse into how Half-Life would look and feel in a different engine. I don't know if I agree with the decision to go with Unreal 5, but it certainly gives it a stronger visual side. However, like many others have pointed out, it feels off. They have clearly spent a lot of time trying to make Unreal FEEL like the source engine, but why spend so much time on turning one engine into another, when you could just have started with one of the source engines to begin with?

It is a fun Half-Life experience/experiment that is worth trying, especially because it is free. However, I am worried about the main game possibly feeling like a knockoff version of Half-Life due to engine limitations.

This is probably one of the most satisfying ways of improving your general mouse control. Normally when training aim, you are training in the blind, with no real improvements visible. But Aim Labs lets you see yourself gradually climb in high scores.

This is not a cheat code to getting good aim, but it will help you along if you have the dedication.

It will not transfer 100/100 to aiming in the games, but it definitely helps carve a path so that you pick up games faster.

This is the first singleplayer game that i've played where i've immediately become immersed into in a while. The story is incredible, with small worldbuilding datapoints spread throughout the world as well. This game feels like a combination of Witcher 3 and Assassins Creed with Deus Ex like worldbuilding.

This is a relaxing really good looking walking simulator. If you have nothing to do, it is a fun distraction. However it does not have any replayability. This is a one time experience that will feel very unique and beautiful.

Played during free weekend.

If you've played Arma 3 before, this is basically a more focused and IMO more immersive battle simulator. It focuses more on a battle/front of a larger war. There it is less open-world and more battlefield like in map size.
It is definitely more fun with a group of friends, but it can also be played solo by joining an already existing squad. And i definitely recommend getting into a squad, it enhances the experience.
