Start with the cons:

I certainly didn't miss this game-play loop, Game starts off great with loads of detail and engaging storytelling, then you get to the part where the voice acting disappears and now you're reading hours and hours worth of exposition, and fighting in dungeons that can go on for upwards of 10 whole hours.

These Graphics are outdated, it isn't an "art style" its a lack of innovation, Honkai Star Rail is a year old now, its a free 'Mobile' Game and its nothing short of Stunning. it isn't wrong to nudge the development team into thinking about graphical improvements for future games.

Pros:

Game has a great set up with an enticing opening sequence, you are not eased into the story, you are thrown into it head first with your crew quite confidently planning on achieving what I assume to be your end goal is in the first hour of the game, very bold.

The voice acting has been great so far, I did go for English voices in the end as immersion is key so naturally British Accents are the go to for that but.... the MC has an American Accent? so yeah that's a thing maybe there's a reason for it who knows.

I like the voiced protagonist, Atlus looks like they might be stepping away from self insert characters but I have been given some sarcastic options so far which is nice.

the first few hours of combat was very fun and satisfying, if you are playing the game casually you could have a lot of enjoyment with the dungeons.

In Conclusion: This game doesn't have the comedic brilliance of a Persona 4, It doesn't have the stunning visuals of a Persona 3 (Reload), It may actually be on par with the movement of Persona 5 though.

But what it is, is something new, something unique and something that NEEDS to be successful if the industry of gaming is ever going to innovate away from the souls like copy and paste games that keep being churned out.
