Really fun with friends. The beginning can be a struggle for food and water, but eventually it becomes only slightly a problem.

Early Access Review
This game is a bunch of fun and can be quite spooky, especially in VR.

The game is a bit janky, but it still is in early access with a very active Discord and regular updates. The developer even has a public Trello board where you can see what is currently being worked on or what is on the roadmap ahead (and even comment). The VR controls are a bit awkward, and I wouldn't recommend using a controller as it seems even worse. Hopefully that will improve over time.

Right now there are only a couple levels, but I see more are being added which is great to see.

Overall it's a fun game and I'd definitely pick it up.

This is a puzzle game like no other.

The puzzles in this game start with such a simple concept, but then expand on that in such a creative way that can really stump you. There has been a few times that I stared at the same puzzle for at least an hour. One of the great things about this game, is that even if you get stuck on a puzzle, you can leave it and solve some other ones, and then come back to it.

The map is done very well and it's clear that there was a lot of attention to detail. The game has you exploring every nook and cranny of the map.

The puzzles in this game can get extremely challenging and you have to learn how to complete each puzzle. There is no instructions that are explicitly told to you, so be prepared for that. Keep an open mind because sometimes when you think you've figured out the rules of the puzzle, you might not have.

Easily a test of your friendship. You'd think think the more people the better, but there is a point where there is too much yelling and you have no idea what's going on anymore. 4 people is ideal (1 person defusing and 3 looking at the manual).

If you have more than 4 players, split up and do teams instead. Competitive bomb defusing is a ton of fun.

tl;dr - Buy the wild eight.

I've tried a few games that are the same sort of style: top down, survival. This one is my favorite by far. It's very easy to pick up, and there is a lot to expore and do in the game already. At the time of writing this, there is only part one to the primary mission, but there are some secondaries too.

The items and resources in the game are fairly easy to figure out and it doesn't get overly complicated with them. You also don't need to memorize every recipie because you can find out how to make items in your workshop.

Of course there are some cons to the game, but nothing that I really had issues with. For me, they are:
- You need to figure out for yourself how to make iron and steel (hint: put 60 ore in the furnace to make 1 iron. Put 1 iron in the furnace to make 1 steel).
- No mini-map or coordinates displayed on screen so you need to constantly open you map
- There is a bug where if two people attack an animal, the damage could be delt to one of the players instead

It is early access, so I expected there to be bugs, but there wasn't as many as I would've expected. It already feels like a fairly polished game in that regard. I'm just waiting for the next parts to the story!

Side note: You should try it on explorer mode first. You will die a few times when you first play it, but in explorer mode you wont lose your stats when you die.

Hands down, one of the best story lines in a game that I have ever played. I felt like I was playing through a movie and I don't think I've ever followed a story as much as I did in this game. No matter what the price is on steam, buy it.

This is a very fun game, but it is surprisingly short.

The first time I played, and I didn't rush through it at all, took me 2.5 hours. I even did all the side quests, mini games, and listened to the majority of all the dialogue of the random people walking around.

Despite its short playtime, as I mentioned it is very fun. The game is very humorous and I found myself and my friends laughing quite a bit throughout the game.

As others have stated, probably not worth the full cost at CDN $16.99 (at the time of writing this review). I picked it up on sale for CDN $4.24 and that was easily worth it. If you are wanting to get this game, definitely wait for it to go on sale or if the price drops to <$10.
