It's pretty fun.

Wish I could have more than one 4 Mech lance on some of the late game missions but I've seen there are mods for that. All in all it is a worth while turn based tactical strategy game.

The computer is too dumb to win an offensive war unless it is way ahead in tech and Korea will always have airplanes and nukes by like 500A.D but other than that it is a fun game.

I miss the campaign having many of the missions be a continuation of previous missions on the same islands. The new stand alone mission structure takes away that feeling of ownership over the island and results in having to build the basic economy on every mission which bogs down the pace of the game. It also seems like the initial objectives of the missions are to shoot yourself in the foot and the later objective is to out run the political fallout of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the country with a bullet hole in your foot. I also miss having a whole dictatorial family to manage buildings and cause international incidents. The game overall is well put together but some parts of previous Tropico games which gave them their signature flavor were abandoned.

Very similar to Diablo with some exceptions. Skills are handled with a gem based system similar to FF 7's Materia system. Leveling is handled similar to FF 10's grid system in which basically any stating character can be anything you want. The early game can feel a bit slow and learning what works best takes a while but once you have it down it is leagues above Diablo 3. On top of that PoE is still getting more content and is free to play without the "pay to win" aspect many f2p games have these days. Spending money gets you things like more stash tabs, character slots and visual effects for different abilities so you look cooler. Giving a play through will cost you nothing and if you like action RPG's you get hooked and play it as much as I have.

For anyone who like turn based 4x strategy games this is a good buy. I personally also like crafting my own ships with the ship editor so there is that too. I would personally give it a 8 out of 10.
