I like everything else in this game but the planet combat change.... i dislike that even if i kill a fair amount of the invaders and hold them off with a good amount of defenders i can still loose the battle and loose my planet >.<

Hi All, I haven't played for a little while but when I did I always used Airmasters Startrek collection in my games which was awesome, however I can't seem to use it now, when selecting it in my collection I just get an error when trying to load any of his collection. I've restarted my steam and uninstalled and re-installed my game with no success. I've been trying for a few days now and other workshop items from other authors seem to work except for Airmasters Startrek collection. I'm wondering does this...

It's been a bit disenheartening to play 4X games recently. I only play them in single player and the levels of AI have been catastrophic. On higher difficulty levels devs just give them those crazy bonuses which they just squander anyway. I'm looking for a 4X game which doesn't give AI those cheaty bonuses and instead simply programs them to play a beast of a game and I once heard an opinion that it's the case with GC4.
