It is obvious that this game took inspiration from a few similar games on the market, I do however think, that some things are setting it apart from those:
The audio design is great. It is atmospheric and you are not confronted with the generic "static noise" you find in a lot of indie horror games. The audio felt haunting and very dimensional. Sometimes it gives you a sense of urgency and danger while in other situations it makes you look behind yourself to make sure you aren't being followed.
The level design is giving me a lot more game play and "learning exercise" than similar games did previously.
Lastly I want to point out, that this game offers arguably more "quality" and variety for a smaller price tag compared to the other games in the sub-genre.
It offers a lot of replay-value and I will definitely re-visit.
