The ultimate open-world survival and base building game where you can do whatever you want, with an emphasis of being able to do whatever you want.

It has one of the most in-depth base building, NPC management and survival game mechanics. You can treat your tribe well and turn a barren island into a whole functional civilisation with lights and houses, beautiful farmlands and functional cities; or you can build a dystopian hellhole just because you can.

As for questline, there are various outcomes for each quest and in order to romance some main characters, you have to go out of your way to look for solutions and hidden options to complete them, but once you managed to complete them, the unlocked interactions and more base building blueprints are extremely rewarding. Main characters are also invaluable for base defense as they cannot be caught by raiders.

Moreover, the game offers limitless cosmetics and customizations, both for the player and for the tribes.

Be it for people who want to romance characters, or for people who like survival games, base building or base defense, Mad Island is the ultimate open-world survival game.

A VERY difficult resource management game that requires you to dismantle cyborgs and sort materials in rapid succession, not only do you need to execute every QTE cut quickly and precisely, you also need to sort the resource accordingly, and sometimes with the Blood resource, you have to only dismantle the head and nothing more as opposed to dismantling all parts. And if the meter moves too quick, you can optionally discard the entire cyborg at the "sell part" tab and roll for another cyborg. As there is little to breathing room if you want to reach the quota and prepare for the next chapter, this game can be very stressful.

There are several tips if you want to process the cyborgs effectively:
1. You can actually spawn a new cyborg almost immediately by double-clicking the clock, which allows you to speed up the process. Moreover, the clock doesn't move when there is no cyborg on the table, which allows you to take a short break should you need it.
2. Even if you have already completed all the chapter quotas, you can actually continue to dismantle more cyborgs to prepare for more materials, such as focusing on harvesting Blood and Rare Material in rapid succession by only dismantling the head and sorting the corresponding parts to save your time at later chapters.
3. Starting from chapter 4, a bonus objective mode would be unlocked which allows you to earn a massive amount of money by submitting a cyborg fitting all the listed conditions. If you want to amass the required amount of money, this is a crucial step to take.
4. Since you can earn money by completing bonus objective starting from chapter 4, from now on, if you were in need of metal, dismantle all parts, sort the head for rare material and the rest for metal; and in you were in need of blood, dismantle only the head and then sort the head for rare material and the rest of the full torso for blood. Money is also crucial for the gallery mode, both for purchasing outfits and replenishing mental status meter.
5. If the bonus objective requires you to deplete a living cyborg's mentality meter and you have the spare time to do so, you can dress an undress the cyborg repeatedly until the mentality meter reaches 0. Alternatively, both successful slices and failed slices can reduce the cyborg's mentality meter. On the flip side, issuing drugs can restore a cyborg's mentality meter back to 100.
6. So long as there is still at least one cyborg on the table at the last few seconds, the day doesn't end until you process the cyborg. This allows you to interact with the cyborg as long as you please, until you process the cyborg on the table.

Once you have completed Chapter 4 (40th day), a gallery mode / endless mode would be unlocked for the completed save, but to reach there, you are going to need a lot of material grinding, rapid QTE solving and part solving to reach there, which can be very difficult. Moreover, you also gain the ability to store cyborgs and buy clothes, but all of them cost money and materials. Entering and exiting the storage room during the gallery mode also rerolls the QTE parameters, which allows you to process cyborgs even more effectively. Occassionally, if you discard a Cyborg from the gallery storage via the trash bin, they may occasionally reappear at next day's batch.

There are few suggestions I'd like to be added:
1. Difficulty slider, which affects the amounts of quotas for people who either want a relaxing experience with a more lax quota, or a twice-as-stressful experience for people looking for challenge with a higher quota.
2. Time slider, which affects how long a day would last, for people who either want more time per day to do the job slowly, or for speedrunners who want to have a self-imposed challenge.
3. Gallery unlock on option menu, an unlock button for people who just want to unlock the sandbox mode and play with the disassembly line with no time limit.
4. Animated cyborgs during interaction and zoom in, as well as more interactions with the cyborg. In its current price point, I'd expect the cyborgs to be animated, but currently, they remain a static picture even with the active ones. Therefore, I'd like to have animations for the cyborgs to be added in a future update.
5. An option tab which allows you to stop time while romancing the cyborgs.
6. Make bonus objective mode available as soon as chapter 2-3 as opposed to locking it at chapter 4.
7. Add an option to withdraw a stored cyborg from the storage during the gallery mode, which allows you to store and submit cyborgs for bonus money strategically.
8. Add an option to exchange money for materials during the gallery mode.
9. Add more positions while romancing a cyborg, as well as more endings and off-duty epilogues which allows you to interact with your own stored cyborgs.
10. Add more unlockable cyborg slots for the gallery mode, up to around 12-20 slots.

Last but not least, in its current state, this game is highly recommended for people looking for a stressful resource management of processing materials rapidly like a factory worker while being able to afford its high price point, as the time limit and quota are very unforgiving. As for casual player who aren't used to QTE and rapid item sorting, this game can be very unforgiving, especially starting at chapter 3. I look forward for further updates of this game.

An archery platformer with solid combat mechanic, where the only few things that hindered it from being a very good game would be the very clunky movement control, which becomes especially evident for the boat section and the boulder section, relatively high MP cost for weapon skills, as well as the lack of ability to regen MP once the flower pickup and enemy spawns have been depleted.

At the last two levels, crystal puzzles have become increasing unfair to the point where Light Arrow (the weapon skill that fires multiple arrows) have almost become mandatory, such as the one that requires you to destroy three crystals under a small bridge, and the rolling rock stamina puzzle. The timing is very uptight for puzzles that require all crystals to be destroyed simultaneously.

Another problem with the puzzles is how cryptic it is for some of the puzzles, such as the cave puzzle at the end of the level, where only three specific crystals marked on the sky need to be destroyed inrder to solve the puzzle, and up until that point, there was no prior puzzle involving fake crystals., another one being the Eternity Puzzle at the Castle level, which doesn't seem to have a clear instruction on the patterns for clearing it.

One thing that I like, however, are some of the new mechanics at the Castle, where environmental objects such as torches are crucial for breaking obstacles, dealing with some enemies and solving puzzles, but by the time it was introduced, it was already at the final level and it would've been better to introduce that at a much earlier level to make everything less repetitive and to make the archery gameplay more varied.

Moreover I wish that there would be more defeat animations from each monster, new monsters to add more enemy varieties for each level (which also means more defeat animations), some new defeat animations from dying of environmental obstacles or falling into the sea, as well as the ability to change or unequip armor (which would also affect defeat animations). Also, I wish each level and boss battle would have different music of their own.

Still, I would still recommend the game for the well-made defeat CGs and archery mechanics. I look forward for updates which would make platforming easier, be it more stamina, faster movement speed, and the ability to toggle sprinting to make it so one could choose to press shift to sprinting and press again to resume to walking instead of holding the shift button. Also, I would like to have a seperate difficulty toggle for puzzle difficulty, which would affect the timing of how fast the pink crystals would respawn for puzzles that requires one to break multiple crystals.

A surprisingly solid first person wrestling game that offers solid combat mechanics. You can customize the time limit, goal point, difficulty level, water visibility and sticker types freely. Once you have completed a match, points can be gained depending on the amounts of stickers you have peeled, the difficulty level bonus, as well as close match bonus if you and Purin's scores are similar. The points you have gained can then be used for unlocking the scenes.

The Steam-side release of Live2D animation set by ぬるぬる坊主, of Pixiv fame, after its initial release on DLSite. Despite the store description, it actually offers more than 9 sets of animations. While all the scenes are censored, they are all well-animated and voiced. A small gripe is that the backgound music muting doesn't persist after scene change and you have to manually adjust BGM volume again after each scene change. But other than that, it's a well-made animation set. Highly recommended to buy it along with the rest of the animation sets during a sale.

The completed version of Sakura Segment and a really well-made action adventure game. While short, it offers a simple, yet solid combat system, areas to explore, costumes and characters to collect, and even minibosses.

I look forward to see more contents being added, be it new areas, new enemy types, new minibosses, the ability to customize your movesets, more interactions with the characters you have unlocked or even playing as the characters you have unlocked.

A really well-made Metal Slug style run-and-gun game. Not only does it offer solid gallery animations, the gameplay is also solid, with varied weapon options, multiple paths that encourage replay values, the ability to melee at point-blank distance, additional challenges such as no-damage run bonus and sometimes it takes specific skills to save hostages (e.g. defeating or reaching the hostage within a time limit, escorting a hostage to a helipad, defeating a boss without accidentally killing the hostage, etc.).

I look forward to see more updates and new contents being added, such as more weapon options, the ability to store one powerup for later use (i.e. having two ammo powerup types in your inventory), the ability to unlock and play as the rescued characters by saving them in the levels, each with their own default weapon types and more defeat animations, more enemy types to interact with for NG+ / hard mode runs and such. Moreover, I'd like to have full screen option being added.

A beautiful, well-crafted platformer. While difficult at first, once you have mastered your abilities and skills earned from different areas, it becomes gradually fast-paced, especially once you have gained the ability to dash and double jump. Moreover, all the pixel arts and sprites are beautiful, atmospheric and well-crafted, capturing the coolness of ninjas, robots and futuristic cities.

One small flaw is that the game currently does not feature NG+ for one to complete the feat challenges. Should this game features NG+ or Time Attack mode, it would be perfect for people who want to replay the game with dashing and double jumping, to speedrun to the end with their earned abilities and creating new records.

A very well-made Action RPG featuring a robust, very customizable weapon skill system, the ability to reallocate stats as one pleases, various unlockable summons that can be integrated into your movesets, and hidden treasures that can further enhance your character builds. Highly recommended for people who like mix-and-matching weapon skills and creating their own builds. The fact that every weapon, shield and armor is worth leveling for the weapon skills makes it even better.

Moreover, the story is also very well-made, with joys and tears at every moment of the plot.

A solid third-person action game and shooter with a huge varieties of character animations that one can unlock.

While the game suffers from the lack of dodging and dashing, lack of weapon varieties, enemy varieties and unique defeat animations per each enemy type, the rest are really well done and the experience is overall positive.

I would highly recommend for the character animations, and this game has a huge potential to add more features, be it dodge rolling and dashing, more areas, more weapons, some bosses, more animations, or even more characters and NPCs. I look forward for more updates.
