I'm absolutely loving this game, and I can't understand why some people are complaining about the sounds. Personally, I think the game has a perfect blend of eerie atmosphere, both visually and audibly. The combat style is also right up my alley. While Blade & Sorcery may excel in this aspect, we have to consider that it has gone through numerous updates to reach that point. The combat in this game falls somewhere between Blade & Sorcery and the Hellsplit Arena games.

I want to highlight the fact that this game offers a campaign, unlike both Blade & Sorcery and the Hellsplit Arena games. While it may not reach the scale of Skyrim, it's commendable considering the size of the development team. Undead Citadel has some truly cool moments that are best experienced firsthand.

I'd even go as far as saying that in terms of interactivity and immersion, this game comes close to Half-Life: Alyx. Now, before you attack me for making such a comparison, I'm referring specifically to the level of interactivity the game offers. Almost everything is interactive, which is a breath of fresh air for VR players. Many newer games have plenty of objects lying around, but you can't touch or interact with them. Immersion is one of the main reasons we play VR, so other developers should take note.

The weapon mechanics in this game feel fantastic and are incredibly fun to use. You have complete control over how you hold each weapon, with various points of hand retention all over them. The bow and arrow mechanics are particularly impressive, providing a wonderful sense of satisfaction when eliminating enemies. Rest assured, my friends, the bow mechanics won't disappoint.

The magic potions in the game are also a blast to use! I particularly enjoy the slow-motion effect, which triggers at just the right moments—like when swinging a weapon or when enemies are about to strike. It adds a layer of excitement and intensity to the gameplay. And let's not forget the strength potion, which turns you into an unstoppable zombie-crushing machine. And who doesn't love grenades? They make things go boom!

The game also includes an arena mode. When you start the arena, you'll notice a multitude of locked weapon boxes. To unlock them, you need to find them in the story portion of the game. Be sure to explore all the houses, as they often contain mini-boss fights or other challenging situations to obtain your next weapon. However, if you're like most of my friends and prefer to rush through everything, you can do that too. Just be aware that it will take longer to find weapons that way.

If you're looking for a new game with a decent 7-8 hour campaign or a standard arena fighter to satisfy your rage-killing techniques, then look no further!

Main Cons:
Unfortunately, the textures appear muddy and low quality, even on the highest settings. Additionally, the lighting quality looks great, but I experienced significant FPS fluctuations during night scenes with fire or candlelight, even on the low graphics settings.

P.S.
I can't help but wonder what all these negative reviews are about. People complaining that it takes too long to find the first weapon or that there are no ambient sounds simply baffle me. Personally, I had no trouble finding a weapon within a couple of minutes, so I think they need to pay more attention. And as for ambient sounds, this game definitely has them, though perhaps not of AAA quality. Lastly, the complaint about "floaty" weapons is quite puzzling, as most sword fighting games tend to feel this way.
