Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore is indeed a quirky game, but it also shows that good things can come in quirky packaging. Taking, as I like to say, the mold of games that there is almost a unanimous opinion that was not a good game, and then making a good game out of it is a kind of feat that I know I have a hard time putting completely words on. Had Seedy Eyes Software done too much or too little of this to recreate the feel of the Zelda CD-I games, I think the game would have definitely suffered. Here they manage to strike a perfect balance between paying tribute to those games for what they were, while at the same time making a better game than what those games ever were.

With Elden Ring, Hidetaka Miyazaki writes himself into the history books as one of the game industry's giants. For those who have followed From Software's games for the past ten years, this probably won't come as a surprise, but Elden Ring is poised to gain the recognition that games like Demon's Soul and Dark Souls didn't immediately receive, and it does so totally deserved. Not only has From Software with the Souls series influenced countless games through their design, but they also manage to surpass themselves to such an extent with Elden Ring, so much so that all other developers who have tried their hand at the recipe almost come across as amateurs..

Super Dungeon Maker gets most of what you'd want from a Zelda maker right, but lacks that essential «Je Ne Sais Quoi» to make it fill the role as a surrogate for the real deal.

Half-Life: Alyx is by far the best VR game out there right now, and it might be one of my favorite games of all time. The way it's built from the ground up to be a VR game set in the Half-Life continuity just goes to show that there rteally isn't anything you can't do with the medium, as long as you plan for it.

Purely as a game it can stand shoulder to shoulder with every entry in the Half-Life series, and some of the level design even rivals master-class examples in level design with the likes of Titanfall 2 and Dishonored 2.

Early Access Review
It's early and still has some kinks to work out, but this is still the most fun I've had with an CRPG in ages

Kanskje den mest perfekte av de spirituelle oppfølgerne til System Shock 2.

Mad Max isn't the game to carry you to Valhalla all shiny and chrome. But it is a decidedly fun time in a game that remains more loyal to the source material than almost any other lisenced game I've ever played. If you don't go Fukushima-Cama-Crazy over the repetitive mission and boss structure this game will show you a good time.

A return to form for everybody's favorite Hedgehog, Not surprising though as it recaps Sonic's Golden Years on the Genesis and Dreamcast. The 3D Sonic games never did much for me, but the duality of this game really keeps it fresh. Amazing soundtrack and awesome gameplay.

One of the best RPGS in recent years. In The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings you once again strap on both your steel and silver swords and go on an epic adventure, where your choices will shape the Northern Kingdoms forever. When CD Projekt Red promises a sprawling narrative they sure deliver, With many choices, big and small, that will shape the world around you. I literally experienced two completely different stories by making a single choice.
