The game is the first of its kind for me, so it truly felt unique in almost every aspect. The stratagems and terminals having these arrow combos make things very fun. Arrowhead has made another game that I am fond of, Magicka, and now they introduce me to new heights of gaming.
On a technical note, the game has no campaign mode with emphasis on story telling and cutscenes, yet it has so much character and atmosphere. It tells you a story with how it has been structured. I am still learning about the whole Galaxy Wars thing, but it seems intriguing as of now.
The grind level is average, and not too crazy. It's mainly to unlock new toys to blow ♥♥♥♥ up with, with some minor important stuff along the way. It really emphasizes the fun aspect of doing whatever you want in terms of strategy and preparation. There's probably some "meta" out there, but I do not care.
The fact that you can earn the premium currency in game is fantastic. Which means that after getting all of the gameplay affecting unlockables you will be able to continue the grind further for some cosmetics of your choosing. The idea of Warbonds is also quite fascinating. It throws the whole "rare" cosmetic thing out of the window.
The community can be very funny and entertaining. I hope this game continues to prosper for the foreseeable future.
