Early Access Review
New update July 2017: There have been a lot of updates lately so I tried it out again. Well, it's even worse now than it was before because the game keeps desyncing with server. Deleting and never installing again.

I've now spent a little over 100 hours playing this game and there are a few things to say about it that are positive:
- The graphics and the landscapes are sometimes beautiful and render efficiently on even my somewhat aged machine
- Driving vehicles in the game is a very fun, though fleeting, experience
- There is definitely a rush of adrenaline when you're fully equipped and looting Hayward in the dark of the night. And it's quickly followed by desperation when a group of strangers sees you, anger when you are one-shotted, and disbelief when you convince yourself you can run back to your death spot before the 15 min despawn period has elapsed.

But there are a lot of bad things about this game as well:
- There's not really anything to do in the game. Sure, you can run around and loot. And fix cars. And kill people. But that gets really boring, and the lack of any real objective just leads people to roam around in groups and kill you for no real reason, even if you are obviously sans weapons.
- The introduction of the female character has been a disaster. While I'm sure the developer meant well, the introduction on Valentines Day (i.e. forced sexualization of females) coupled with the fact that the female char is nerfed (punches, kicks are weaker than male, jump height was decreased) make me question who is making decisions at the company.
- Lack diversity. If the developer is interested in being inclusive, they would include additional races and a transgender option from the character setup. I'm not sure whose utopia a bunch of bald white males running around in army boots reflects, but it's disturbing to me.
- Mutants have very poor AI and are extremely easy to defeat.
- Few vehicles which require a lot of dedication to fix (average is probably over 1hr to find all components). Once fixed, their health will decline for running into things, but they can supposedly be repaired with a lug wrench. But it doesn't work, and even if you get the vehicle health back to 100% it will still explode for bumping into a sidewalk.
- That coughing noise: Sometimes there is a random coughing noise when you are running around in the woods and I don't like it or understand why it is in the game.
- The Voice of God: This should be self-explanatory, but when you ascend the skyway bridge to heaven you are greeted by what I assume is the voice of God. I don't know if this is some kind of joke, but I used an app to identify the speaker and, you guessed it, it's Pol Pot. Not funny.

Basically if the above points are addressed I will change my recommendation of this game.

Edit: Now that Playerunknown's battlegrounds has been released I guess the Miscreated developers can go ahead and begin filing for insolvency.
