I'll preface this by saying I already played Black Mesa before the GoldSrc(Classic) version here, but I also completed Half Life 2 and Episode 2 before them both. Picked this up for 99 cents on a sale, and so should you!

GoldSrc Half Life is a great game, a complete game, and the worthy version of classic Half Life 1 in comparison to HL: Source.

In my entire playthrough I ran into 0 bugs, other than those damn HECU soldiers who can somehow take half a clip and keep moving.

GoldSrc is to Source what CS 1.6 is to CS: Source, so if you prefer one over the other, you have the liberty to choose.

Overall, the best start to the series, and still worth playing as of December 2nd 2019. Just...wait...what's that smell...?
