I have never played Mass Effect before and decided to do so since I am a fan of Dragon Age. Overall, I was not left disappointed. This game series has left me wanting more and has easily made it to my list of favorite games of all time. The only disappointment I have is the ending of ME3, and it is not what happens during it, but the lack of closure on the characters. Throughout the games you develop a bond with these well-written characters. You go through hell and back and yet they stick around, there to cheer up Shepard or joke around. There are gripping moments in the games that made me tear up, most of which are in ME3 and yet, I felt disappointed and empty when seeing the ending. It left a lot to be desired but it was one hell of a ride. 9/10 will play again someday.
