Positives:
This is a game that knows what fun is. It brings a Super Mario Maker type of game to the pc and makes it competitive. It might not have the best graphics but it doesn't have bugs (well I haven't noticed any) and the pc requirements aren't high so a bunch of your friends can buy this even if they only have a laptop with an old or even built-in Intel graphicscard. It's also a great local multiplayer game (you'll need some controllers though).
Negatives:
If you don't have friends who own this or don't really invite people often and play this then the game is probably not worth your hard earned money, except if you like playing with random people on the internet (but then I believe it looses some of the charm when you can't hear the others raging).
The price might also scare people off, so wait for a sale.

I'd say this game is a solid 8/10 for people who love platformers, playing with friends and making/hearing other people rage.
I'd recommend a controller though as it handels a little better than a keyboard (though these controlls are ok as well)
