First keep in mind it's Early access and has some jank and the visuals take getting used to. Just wanted to throw my thumbs up because it's honestly a fun little game. I'm not very good at it yet and only beaten 2 runs. But the rogue like upgrading during a run in an RTS has just been fun.

I recommend watching a video or playing with a 2 hour time limit for refund. Should be easy to figure out if you'll like it.

In general I'd give it a thumbs up because it is a fun game and a faithful port of the Vita with some minor changes, but I'd wait a few weeks to see if they patch and support. Game is having a lot of issues with windows 10 and 11 and flat out broken and unplayable for them. Runs surprisingly well on the steam deck in comparison but can make the steam deck run very hot to the touch with is not good for such an old game. While I can play it on my deck, I'm refunding it and waiting to see if they actually support it enough with optimization. I refuse to support lazy devs that release broken PC ports.

If you try it remember the 2 hour refund window. If you run into issue refund it so maybe it'll push them to fix their port.

PS. Remember people. Just because it works fine on your computer doesn't invalidate all the people having issues.

! save file. If your game crashes and corrupts your file you just loose everything and have to start from scratch. Only work around is modding and/ or manually making save copies constantly outside of the game. This shouldn't be an issue in a Game of the year level game...

I love fromsoft and these games but I'm just done with all the technical issues. If you play just be aware that this can happen. I was just exploring and the game randomly stuttered than froze my computer. Restart and file is corrupted and I lost everything... Not fun when you have limited time to play.

A no for now. I have a decent computer and even on the lowest settings the game just keeps doing huge stutters every few seconds. Got passed the tutorial and into the first town and already had to give up. It was just torture.

I see the potential of a good game here but it's a performance mess right now. I would keep it wish-listed and see where performance is at down the road.

They broke it

Honestly just not a well made game that doesn't respect the player's time

Game just doesn't feel optimized and playing it gave me a little dizziness.

I think there's a great game here but I think it got a little rushed out before it was optimized and filled with microtansactions. Though none are needed from what I can tell. Just doesn't look good when the game is $70 and doesn't run well.

I say wait a few weeks and see what kind of patch support they give this game.

PS. I'll change my review when I come back and see if the game is running better.

Fun potential, just lazy devs and to many bugs.

First I'll start with the gameplay. It's amazing and a lot of fun. If you're a fan of starship troopers, 40k, and/ or good coop fun this is an easy recommend in general.

Right now though I would avoid it. They are having major network issues and server caps and a large amount of people can't connect and this is an always online game. If you can't connect to the server, you can't play, even by yourself.

Also the forums are a mess. A lot of jester farmers and people claiming any negative review is just review bombing and we should all be patient. I suggest avoiding those for now to.

While I think the game is an easy 9 out of 10 it is simply unplayable right now. (Not just server issues but some computers it just isn't working on due to weird bugs) I'm sure this will get fixed but better to hold onto your money and buy the game when it consistently works.

This is a thumbs down but I'll make it a thumbs up once I think it's a safe buy again. Feel free to follow this review.
