Fun game to play, plenty of customizable options once you've gone through a couple of runs and leveled up some, and even before you'll probably find at least one "broken" build, such as drowning the enemy in spiders that deal increased damage and are hardier than normal, as well as being meatshields for your frontline units.

This is a great and very addictive little Roguelike RTS. You can makes some pretty insane builds using the wide variety of different commanders, units, buildings, mods, etc.... I would highly recommend to any RTS player as it is a pretty easy to understand the game but can also have a lot of planning and depth to it depending on how you are trying to create your build.

My only suggestion to the developers would be to include some additional game modes to spice things up.

i like the concept of this game but it is very hard for me to play it or recommend it.

the ai on your units is awful they forget move commands if you move the view off of them, the hold command only seems to work for about 10 seconds and then they go back to default pursuit mode, the default mode where they pursue enemies is far to aggresive for my taste especially since they dont seem to pursue to keep enemies at maximum range but rather pursue at whatever range they were shooting the enemy at its very strange, and if you give them an attack move they will stop at the first enemy like they are supposed to but then when its dead they dont start moving again, the ai also appears to have pathfinding issues when you move a group of more than 5 or so units they get very confused about their destinantion and some of them will stop moving entirely if they cant figure out how to group at a destination.

the most important part of an rts is your units ai, in my opinion especially one with lots of abilities on the units.
its not very enjoyable to feel like they arent following your commmands.

if they fix these issues i will buy the game again and it may just be an early access problem until then id stay away from this game.
