After the greatest update in the game's history the review scores have gone.... Down?

As a big fan of both DD1 and DD2 the new 'Kingdoms' mode has really satisfied the wish for a meeting point between both games. There is a grand map to traverse, and inns to build and specialise similar to the hamlet of the first game... but with the, what I see as, vastly improved combat mechanics of second game.

It isn't DD 1.5, make no mistake, but it is it's own amazing game and should be tried by fans of the genre ESPECIALLY at half price. The fact such an update is free is testament to the developers, you should give it a shot.

Abomination was one of my favourites from DD1... and now he's my ABSOLUTE favourite in this game

Red Hook took a gameplay gamble, that's split a lot of people, by really focusing on building up to the beast form from a tiny two starting skills. Almost like a pseudo quest-line.
That gamble pays off incredibly well, with the artists working on full steam, and getting through the shrines to reach that payoff for Transform took about 1hr 30m.

He's a incredible character that has another refreshing playstyle, and is animated and drawn INCREDIBLY well.

I can't recommend this dlc enough, slimes are cool too

This game, to me, felt like a window into the souls of real people.

The dialogue and voice acting within is absolutely superb and I urge anyone with the patience and enjoyment to thoroughly take in each gesture and each word, to play this game.

The amazing premise and dread inducing scenes it brings form a brilliant grounds for Oxenfree, topped off by the cherry of brilliant production.

You need to experience this story, because, in times like this, with the world closed up all around us, I felt closeness to people, who, don't exist.

I like it, you can shoot without vats...

Cortex's head looks cool in this one.

Extremely fun art style,

Game is a nice electronic take on games like the resistance.

Community may make it harder to get into.

Stick with it for a good game, honestly worth your time.
