QUIT HOLDING OUR GAMES HOSTAGE!

This is a protest against Steam. Because customers are being forced to "agree" to the new TOS (Terms of Service) such that you the customer are forced to "agree" in order to access all of your games that you have purchased prior to the new TOS and the inability to not play said games without logging in to Steam. This also effectively prevents you from joining any class action lawsuit against Steam/Valve. This in effect allows Steam to screw you and your only recourse it to go through Steams arbitration process which is private and you have no means for appeal. Basically you are forced to take what you are given. Yes you were forced to agree to this and I bet you didn't even read the TOS.

This is the only way that we can protest since we had no choice but to agree to the TOS to even get to this group let alone have access to games already own and the friends and communities that we have created through Steam.

If you are here, that means you love Steam, the games, the friends, the communites and much of what this company has to offer as many of us have been here for years. But this is has really gone too far and it is time to make a stand. You can always vote with your cash and to start buying games through other means, like ordering online, or even better yet, your local independently owned game store. You can still have Steam and just "Add a non Steam Game" to your library and stll have the freedom to play it with or without logging on to Steam.
