Submit them demos boys!

Hey trimpers,

So Reindeer just recently threw a bunch of trimp clips he had lying around up on youtube and I've taken on the task of editing them into a full fledged movie. Seeing as right now that movie would be kind of on the short side we thought that it would be a cool idea to make it a community trimp movie. This means we need your trimping clips!

We're looking for clips on a vareity of maps (regular maps, custom maps, jump maps, surf maps, whatever you can think of!). They don't necessarily have to be just trick trimps, if you get a sweet trimping air shot or a nice caber kill in a multiplayer server feel free to send in the demo. This is your chance to be in a first of its kind community movie, so don't waste the opportunity for some sweet e-fame!

Hopefully all of you know how to record demos, if not google is your friend. I'm looking for both POV and STV demos (unless the trimp is on multiplayer and you can't get your hands on the STV). Demos can be sent to [email protected] and should be named in the following format: name_map_tick_type (e.g. protist_upward_19000_pov, where the tick number is just before the trimp you want included starts). If you're sending multiple demos you can add them to a .zip file.

The deadline for demos is Friday, April 1. So you've got 6 weeks to get trimping.

Right now I know of no simple ways to give back the increased charge length, but it can be done by editing maps. Do you guys think it's a good idea to allow editing maps to increase charge lengths for the sake of trimping? If so I can post a tutorial on exactly how to do it, so that we can increase the options for trimping again. Let me know what you think!
