We've been playing CS since it was originally a Half-Life mod back in 1999. That was four years before Steam existed!

The name "Sell My Girlfriend" came from a friend who had ♥♥♥♥♥♥ very frustrated with his girlfriend. He said, "I need to get rid of her! Anyone want to buy her? I'm looking to sell my girlfriend!" Then we put together a fake auction website where people could upload pictures of themselves and see how much they would go for, kind of like Hot Or Not.
