Being there

Friendships are among the most important relationships you’ll have in your life. Many of your favorite memories probably include times you’ve spent with friends. But having friends can be hard work sometimes, when they get on your nerves or when they’re going through a tough time. Not knowing what to do or say to help them can be frustrating and emotionally challenging. However, doing your best to make them feel better shows you care about being a good friend.

What's a good friend?

Someone who: *you can trust won’t judge you *won’t deliberately hurt your feelings, but will show kindness and respect *is trustworthy and not afraid to tell you the truth, no matter how hard it is sometimes *can laugh when you laugh *makes you smile *will give you room to change *will be there no matter what your situation is *will fight for you *will love you not because they feel they have to, but because they choose to *accepts you for who you are, and lend you an ear when you need to whine or complain *you can depend on, who is loyal and whose company you enjoy *calms down your fears *encourages you to try it again *makes a difference in your life *offers his/her support *walks by your side *forgives your mistakes *believes in you

The breeze of cool air surrounds us as the season we’ve all been waiting for fast approaches. As we celebrate this, let us remember the essence of Christmas and holiness of the season itself. Do not forget the importance of the presence of our families and friends for this is a special celebration for each and every one of us.

Today is the coming of the Son of G-d and we should welcome Him in the most special way by spreading love and peace among other people. Remember what this season is all about, how lovely it is to see people gathering together and spending a good time with each other, and the feeling of having this season as a way of expressing love and peace with each other.
