Well, this is awesome. It's only been a couple of hours, and already my good buddy Streetster 20 has helped me get the website + forums up. It's got a nice Steam theme, and the forums look like how the Steampowered forums used to look like. I'll be honest here, I didn't expect it to be up this quickly.

Now, I thought that I might have a bit more time to think about things before I wrote this, but here's what I've got. I have a feeling that it'd be a good idea to work with the Alien Swarm SDK and mod tools. It's got everything we need for the game, effects, healing, buildings and sentries. At the moment I'm playing around with things, and it seems fairly promising. But I'd rather let all of you decide what we're going to do. So go on, Go to the forums, spew out ideas like usual, tell me what you want, and for god's sake if you can help say so. Modellers, coders, mappers and people who can organize stuff are needed. Because if you think I'm going to do this alone you're sadly mistaken.

Well, it's been a pretty long time, and I think some things need explaining.

We've been inactive now for god knows how long, and I think it's time we started this up again. The main reason why it's been so long is that YHT hasn't been on AT ALL. Coupled with the fact that the website is now down and redirects to the TF2 main website, I think it's safe to say that YHT has probably forgotten about us. The problem is, he was supposed to be creating the engine for us to work on, and without that we're pretty stuffed.

HOWEVER, I still think that we, as a community, can produce a TF2 singleplayer game. The problem is, where to start? I'll be setting up a temporary website up soon (You know, one of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ free ones) untill we get things sorted. From there we should be able to colaborate more, and work out our next step.

I'm just a mapper. I'm doing this in my spare time. But I know that we can do it. I'll post when I've got a website up.
