Synthesizing proactive enrichment systems

I look forward to working on this Mod very much, and I feel that as a team we can create something awe-inspiring. However, it is obvious that preparations need to be made. Two in fact come to mind.

I feel it is necissary to gain a better understanding of the current Half-Life storyline. In other words, I feel it is mandatory to have played Half-Life 2 and at least have a complete understanding of what took place in Half-Life before we even begin to discuss a possible storyline for our Mod. When the time comes when we do discuss the Mod, we shall do it in an environment so that we shall remain focused on what needs to be accomplished.

Secondly, certain roles in particular aspects of the game design must be filled. For instance, the following are roles that are necessary for Mod development: level designer, 3D modeller, texture creator, music and voice recording, and cinematic features. As of right now, the role that needs to be filled (meaning there is no one qualified for this) is 3D modeller. It is absolutely necissary that someone can fill this role by a certain due date. It is my hope that we can come up with a believable storyline and the necissary skills by spring. It is then that I hope to get the mod-machine working.
