Quake Live TDM Pickups

Having a hard time finding Quake Live TDM matches? That's probably because 99.9% of the TDM community avoids public servers and the matches are played out using pickup games. These pickups happen daily in both North America and Europe and each region has it's own channel where the games are organized. These games are open to the public and players who are interested simply need to join their regions respective channel and add up! Pickups are organized via IRC on the Quakenet.org network. If you don't want to use IRC you can open the webchat links below with your browser.


Once you are connected you can request a list of available commands from the channel bot by typing "!help" without quotes. Before using the !add command for the first time the channel bot will ask for your steam id. If you don't know your steam id you can find it a number of ways. The easiest method is to open the folder where you have installed quake live and look for a folder with several numbers. Example below:


Keep in mind the above is only an example and the numbers from your steam id will be different. Don't be afraid to ask the pickup channel if you need more information or additional assistance in getting started.
