Can I get you men a coupla beers?

I posted something similar in the latest Skype group chat-

Guys, we need to get our ♥♥♥♥ together- this massive time wasting business before, after, and during our games could be easily prevented. We made it through 15 years in 3 hours which is not acceptable. People need to show up EARLY. Like, up to 30 minutes early to get rid of all technical difficulties. I will start the game at 14:00 CST sharp, no excuses. If you cannot make the session, notify either me, Seth, or someone else to relay why you cannot make the session. If you want to be a cool person, try to ask around for someone to substitute your country or ask others if they have someone to sub for you. Waiting the day of to say you cannot make it or something similar is not acceptable. To expedite the game starting would also seemingly reduce the out of sync issues. Thus, if you are not telling others you cannot make it and you don't show, it is fair game what the AI does to your country until you show up. I will however have the option to join the game while the session has started. So your county won't be thrashed by other players, but the AI will do whatever until you join us in-game (assuming you are late).

In addition to the time problems, if we are to add new players, notify either myself, Seth or someone to relay your message to Seth or I. If that person is to be admitted, they follow the same rules with no special treatment- they will show up on time, even on their first session. Assuming you let us know that the person is coming and with whatever country they want, I will make reasonable changes to the file to make your country stable if it isn't already. But having someone join the day of, then not really have time to play and in turn take forever to join and waste our time is unacceptable. I will not tolerate that again. Advocate your wishes earlier.

Failure to comply to the rules will not per se get you barred from the game, but rather, it will hinder your country and privilages. So instead of banning someone who is chronically late, the AI will do things to his country he may not have wanted (i.e. pick a retarded idea group, and that's irreversible). Or if you want someone to join, did not tell others and want a rehost to get him in, that friend of yours does not have the privilage of playing- I will not sacrifice time for your lack of planning or general idiocy.

We must remind ourselves these sessions are a commitment.
Marriage has nothing on the commitment these sessions pose.

I would like it if everyone acknowledged this fact in the form of some comment here, in Skype, or a PM of some sort, so when I start without someone joining, they don't freak out and know what they can do to play more efficiently.
