Picarto is Go

Guys, I got a Picarto[www.picarto.tv].

If'n you have an account there and follow me, you get notified whenever I stream, which is kinda rad. Also, the site is actually alive, so people can just sort of stumble onto me, which is a lot better for exposure than the shambles of old Livestream me and too many others keep desperately clinging to, afraid of change. We don't get stream storage this way, but I'm going full HD at 30 fps and don't have to fear the horrible bandwidth monster, so I consider that a pretty fair trade.

Some point later today I'll probably do a sketch stream. I may or may not try that whole scheduled event thing. We'll see. ;o

Hey guys! Welcome to the newly formed Studio Gato Steam Group! How exciting!

But what is the point?

Geeze, you're a little pessimist, aren't you? Well, fret not! I'll answer your concerns. I'm cool like that.

Straight out of the gate, this group exists for several delightful reasons! ... What, you want a list? Wow, fine, okay. Check it out.

Curation
Directing SG fans towards works they might enjoy outside of our tiny little umbrella has always been sort of a goal of mine; with Trelldain, I've wanted to point my strangely webcomic-estranged fanbase towards similar works, and now with Steam's Curator business, I can also help point you guys towards whatever adorable junk I think may be of interest! That's pretty neat! but boy, it sounds one-sided. It's too bad there's not a discussion board or something on here where you could recommend things yourself and bring them to my atten-oh wait there is how awesome is that?
Creation
We do a lot of stuff, us Gatos. Maybe you want to stay posted on that. As Steam members, maybe you want to know what games maybe are in the pipes. "Do Gatos even make games," I hear you ask. Valid question. At least one Gato plans to. Tying back to that Curation business, said Gato may also point you all to similar things, check some tastes, see how you fare. How devilish. How nasty. How intruiging. Also, if you're up to something, feel free to share. That is also a thing.
Conversation
We like hearing from people! And it's two ways! On top of our own little corner here with a discussion board and group chat, we also have event scheduling for things like art streams and major releases, or maybe just some sort of sick Divekick Tournament or something, who knows. The point is, communication is an option here, and I think that's pretty neat.
C... Coooome Have a Good Time!
I'll be honest. It just sounded really fun to have a Steam group! Look at this stuff. We can hang out. We can be homies. I think that's pretty cool!

Does that do it? Does that sedate your vicious craving for ordered information? I hope so. Not out of spite, but because I honestly want your day to be that much better. Smile, you! Yes. Much better!

We'll get this ball rolling proper over the next few days, but, in the meantime, have yourself a look around and make yourselves at home!

Mostly just that we po'. :s It's back for the time being, but stuff happens, and sometimes the hosting bill drops at a time we can't do much about it.
