yeah, it seems pretty good.things to look out for on the tutorial:

- throw the pies from the carnival at the shaved spoffits

-some guy will call you a "plebian"

-if you exit before completing it, you can access all the editors anyway

-a few glitches, I got stuck in a door once, and in a round thing near the other captain dude

well the space expansion pack is due out mid to late march, or so it seems. it allows you to beam down toplanets and complete missions from the surface, and also constains a mission editor. also, just a thought... as creepy and cute doesn't contain many parts, is it possible for EA to releasemore parts for owners of it? in other news, the first player-created part is out (a pair of glasses), and a creation had it's feature removed because it used an extra parts hack. this stirred a debate on the official forums, although maxis's side is currently unknown.
