The Über update is incoming, and that means a whole new set of weapons to accumulate. Which will probably mean a long and painful process of haggling and bargaining with capitalist traders trying to buy low, sell high, and rip you off. Say- a Tomislav for an Enforcer and a reclaimed.

The Socialist Traders Network is an alternative to the profit- driven tf2 mannconomy. It's a network of people who see the trading system as an opportunity for mutually beneficial trades, NOT as an opportunity for profit.

Through a few cooperative social norms, we can make it much easier for everyone- ourselves included- to get the hats and weapons we want.

So offer up your dupes or unwanted hats for 1:1 trades with anybody who needs them, and others will do the same for you.

THE RULES-

List your tradable items using comments on the group page, and chat with online members to arrange in- game trades.

* All trades are 1:1
* No bartering (except for limited edition items)
* No sweeteners
* There is no obligation to trade for weapons, hats or misc. items you're unhappy with.
* Stocking up on valuable items and reselling them on the regular market will get you banned from the group.

FAQ

Q: "What if somebody offers me an axtinguisher for one of the new weapons? Can't they just rip me off?"
A: You've got no obligation to accept any trade. It makes sense to only trade new weapons for new weapons, especially in the weeks after the Über update comes out. Having said that, after you've accumulated the full set, you should chip in and try to help other people complete theirs.
