GFWL Removed from Batman:AA and Batman AC.

The GFWL and Securom drm has been removed from Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City!

If you had the non-GOTY editions you get the GOTY version for free!

The developers have also announced that codes for games bought elsewhere will be able to be registered on Steam (though currently that doesn't seem to be working yet.)

If you avoided buying these games because of GFWL then the current weekend %75 off sale is the perfect time to buy. :-)

Pillars of Eternity all the way for me at the moment.....its an awesome old school RPG and just the sort of Single player experience i like. Would reccomend to anyone that likes that sort of game if they havent already looked at it :)

Hey guys. Just happened across this place while doing random Steam exploring. Been heavily into Pillars of Eternity lately. Love single player rpg's though I have a terrible tendency to jump from one game to another and never really completing any of them. But I still have fun trying :)

I just got Batman AC , left 4 dead 1 and 2 and I'm going through the witcher 1 and 2 . I got a Mac at the beginning of the year and these are some of my first keyboard and mouse games. I must say it takes a couple of minutes to adapt since I've been a console games since the Atari 2600 and NES all the way to ps3 . Games look amazing . Add me to your friends list because I really want to experience this awesome Steam platform.

GFWL and securerom have been removed from the Batman games! So happy that I can FINALLY enjoy Batman:Arkham Asylum after buying it over three years ago and not being able to play it for more than a few hours thanks to GFWL. :D::steamwings:

Hitman and half life series and its mods are my favourite single player games.

Just finished RAGE...by myself...and it felt good. No one else was in that cryo chamber with me when I awoke. No one else was driving MY car, with MY mods, and MY less than admirable attempt at keyboard-style driving... It was Me, all ME, buddy boy.
I immersed, it was good times...yeah, good times. :-)
