Space Engineers released out of Early Access and to celebrate this MisFit Studios (my new team) today announced one of our projects that has been in development since 2017. Recently with the formation of our company we have hired on several contractors to help with the production of Protocol 51 a Space Engineers multiplayer and solo scenario experience with an economic and loot based progression system. Built on the idea of non-linear professions and episodic stories in which the community plays a unique role in developing. As you all may know I have been working on a major overhaul/update to my mods and world for Space Engineers. With another major release from Keen on the way for Space Engineers I am hoping to release it the day of the patch. This requires a tremendous amount of work to achieve this goal. Hopefully with this new patch Keen will add new survival mechanics that will bring a lot more to the game. My goal will be to enhance every part of the game to create a meaningful/progressive system that will work well with this new update. In order to achieve this release window the server will initially release in a alpha state where there maybe game breaking bugs due to the volatile nature of mods and updates by the game. I will attempt to make sure all testing is completed before the patch drops as much as possible but I don't want to miss the opportunity to get everyone playing at the peak of interest (when the patch drops). I have never done this in the past due to not wanting people to run into unforeseen bugs, I have always been on fan of stability vs timing. But this time I am going to do it different so you all get to play and hopefully we can get a very large community right away.
Things I am focusing on this new update:

• New Map - The MisFit Galaxy (You will spawn in the center of a dying Galaxy with tiered planets that you will have to unlock through coop missions vs PVE motherships.)
  
• New Lore - Through minigames/missions/scenarios I will be creating a story that explains why you find yourself retreating to this volatile system in order to survive. (In these minigames you will be able to earn credits without needing to build or have any credits of your own.) If successful the story will be told through YouTube videos created by @Gorhamian#4221
  
• New/Updated Mods - New More Diverse Economy, Shields, Relative Top Speed, Aerodynamics, Tiered Blocks of all Kind (armor, engines, power, tools... and more), New Ore/Components for Tiered Blocks (only mined on higher tiered planets but can be found in reward caches), Blueprint Components (for specific high reward items only found in caches or purchased) , Buried Reward Caches (Something to find when mining besides Ore), Surface Reward Caches (something to fight over and own), Relay Towers (something to control to slow down PVE event attacks), PVE Raids (an event that will occur if players don't hold enough relay towers), New random NPC's

With the 0.6 update we are now officially launching our Medieval Engineers Server. Keep posted for the upcoming stories and events! I look forward to seeing you all in game.

There are reports coming in of small ongoing mercenary clashes on the planet surface. We have images from our men on the ground of entire ISTG factories ripped from the side of mountains. Nearby a Hunchback dropship was photographed crashed right in front of an ISTG fort. The trade wars seem to have begun in full swing. It is advised that all residents stay inside and away from any ISTG complex. The question now is when will it end, and will ISTG be able to survive this onslaught?
