These are roguelikes or like-likes or coffee breaks or hacklikes or bandlikes or lites that I like. I even go so far as to add games that I consider have a roguelike spirit, even if they're missing elements taken for granted.

Major elements I look for:
0. Replayability
1. Random/procedural generation
2. Permadeath

Optional, but favorable elements:
1. Freedom
2. Tactical
3. Dungeon Hack
3. Turn based

Of course, there will not be many traditional roguelikes, but there are games that display the same game aesthetics.
