Running On Empty was created upon the premise of a group of strangers surviving together in a post-apocalyptic role-playing environment. In this environment, players must make quick decisions. We are among the few who have survived and now must scavenge the world for food, water, weapons, and medicine, while killing or avoiding infected. As part of the RP experience, factions will develop and alliances will be formed. Decisions will need to be made in order to decide whether killing, avoiding, or cooperating with other players is the best path to survive as long as possible in the harsh post-apocalyptic landscape.

We encourage all survivors who visit and are interested in joining to submit an application. If you or any of your friends are seeking an experience like this, please feel free to apply for admission to the server. Any questions you may have can be asked and answered via the forum’s general discussion threads.

Please note that we are not, in any way, associated with the Inside DayZ Standalone server. We hold ourselves to more of a member friendly community and plan to stick to what is advertised.

First Community Event

We will be holding our first community event, a "scavenger hunt" on Saturday. Senior Community Leaders will be leading teams of community members to seek specific items around the world of Chernarus. Each team will have a list of items to find, with a special item and conditions that will allow them to claim victory in our first community event. Currently I'm seeking to fill up the new roles of the Heroes circle. These are the roles available...

Police officers
Firefighters
Paramedics

Police officers must have a blue police cap, UN baret or UN helmet. They must also carry a set of handcuffs.

Firefighters must have at least one piece of clothing fireman related, and must carry a fire fighters Axe.

Paramedics need at least one piece of paramedics clothing with a full ready to use 1st aid kit.

Crimes committed against the heroes circle will make that person wanted for the next 2 weeks. And their name will be made infamous. Only way to clear your name of being wamted/infamous is surrendering to a police officer and letting him handcuff you for booking. Police officers may only execute you with district attorney permission.

Hello survivors I have some interesting news!

I have decided to make a Heroes circle, in which players interested in playing the hero role may join!

It will be divided into 3 parts.
The "Novo Patrol" police department and police chief
The "Novo Medics" fire fighters and paramedics
The "Novo Justice" District attorney and executioner

The Novo patrol will protect and serve the citizens. Their role is to provide any support they can.
Trades are welcome
Civilian hostage situations
Responding theft, torture, and murder Outside KOS zones.
Zombie rescue squad

The Novo Medics will be responsible for healing wounds of other players regardless of wanted status or group affiliation. Making fires to keep cold citizens warm. These guys will not kill, rob, or steal. Shooting to defend ones self is allowed.

The Novo Justice will be DaHes and anyone he appoints as executioner. He will prosectute all theft, torture, and murder. His word is the law of the land.
