We play old games to make us feel superior

Old games. Nobody plays them, right? With their graphics like a finger painting and somewhat archaic controls. Pah.

BUT WAIT!

Nay, we say. Old games will take your Call of Warfare and right click on it several times, then left click once it's dead and pick up sweet lewt. Then, REPEAT AS NECESSARY

The masterplan is, we organise events using the classics, games like Icewind Dale, Age of Wonders, and so forth. We shall then connect to each other using the wonderful GAMERANGER, an all round fantastic piece of kt, or an alternative of the game isn't support by it. Then, we PLAY, and HAVE FUN. Simple as that, really!

Seeing as How RichRuzz has abandoned our glorious republic, I have seen fit to install 2 people to the cabinet of old games. Say hello to your new supreme underlords, Riaktion and Beardface. No events this week, as, well, Christmas and all that. If you really want to play, I'm sure we can arrange something.

Saturday 11th December at 5PM GMT (or later if necessary) shall be the time of Shadow Magic, a lovely turn based strategy that's deep and stuff. The game costs $9.99 on GoG, which is about £5 or so when translated to proper money. If you can't buy it, ask politely in the RPS Kindness Club or ask one of us, and I'm sure someone will be kind to you.
The game will be hosted on Gameranger, by me or one of my compatriots. We will be using the Unofficial Patch 1.4, which can be found here
