The Red Build District is a network of alleys containing approximately three hundred tiny one-room cabins rented by Engineers who offer their building services from behind a window or glass door, typically illuminated with red lights. The area also has a number of Sentry-Gun shops, Dispensers, teleportals, Sandvic-shops and a Reliable Excavation Demolition (RED) Museum.

Founder and CEO of the Reliable Excavation Demolition, Redmond Mann founded the Red Build District in 1880 late in the industrial revolution. He noticed that many engineers wanted to earn some extra money by selling their engineering ‘skills’ so he created a place where people can set up their stores.

The Red Build District is not only know by the many engineers who have their stores there. It’s also the right place for many mercenaries to use a teleport straight to the battlefield. The Red Build District also has a huge population of Scottish demoman and Russian Heavy Weapon Guys who often use the services of the engineers to repair or upgrade their weapons.
