This is one mod that if you have Half-life 1 you should get and play. Cry of Fear is a Horror/Adventure mod that centres around an character who gets hit by a car and wakes up in a dark alley with no idea on whats going on, while trying to find your way back home your character Simon will face scary demons and monsters that sometimes look funny and sometimes just plain WTF!!!, With 4 different light sources at your disposel 3 different melee weapons and 7 Guns to waste upon the undead its not surprising that this is so gooooooooood. the game is built on Half-life 1's engine but looks like it was built on freaking Half-life 2 all the content in the game is custom made with 4 ending bosses and 4 mid stage bosses. the best thing about Cry of Fear is the lighting in the game with the 4 different light sources, Cellphone, Flashlight, Flare and Lanturn all with thier own effect and range of source they make running in the dark a joy and scary as S**T. With tons of Unlockables (30) and a coop multiplayer of up to 4 people playing as a cop and voice acting thats good but is too silent and music that makes your heart pound and that gives you a sigh of relaxation and that makes you feel sad and happy at the same time.

This is the must own mod of the decade
