PhanTac is a community of gamers who enjoy friendly, tactical, and engaging experiences with others (especially in Arma 3).

Originally founded in 2012, PhanTac has evolved through many iterations, leadership changes, membership structures, re-brandings and even hiatuses. PT has proudly inspired several other groups, and the one constant has always been that players get out of PT what they put into it. We know eventually everyone moves on in gaming groups, at PhanTac we embrace that. Participation is always up to the player, and we simply hope you have fun while you're here.

No matter what level of skill or tactical knowledge, there is a place for any mature adult who wants to have fun in PhanTac.
We don't have ranks, tiers, or any other player segregation. Anyone is allowed to play any role they can handle. Anyone can make their own mission for everyone to play. We encourage members to push boundaries creatively and have an open minded and inclusive approach to tactical team-based gameplay.

We do not, however, tolerate spicy edge lords, trolling, or toxic, immature, and disruptive behavior. Having fun is what we're all here to do, and all of us sacrifice our free time to play, so we expect each other to respect that. Intentionally ruining another's experience through gameplay or harassment is about the only way to be asked to leave.


As a "tactical" group, we use and understand the importance of teamwork, communication, tactics, and leadership. But we are NOT a hardcore mil-sim group or overly structured gaming organization. No calling anyone sir, no mandatory attendance, and no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Bring a good attitude, an open mind, and be ready to work through whatever challenges you may face with your teammates. If you don't like to work with others or are stubborn in your approach to teamwork, this might be a hard place to fit in.
A philosophy we treasure is: "What am I doing to make sure everyone else is having fun too?"
