New Installer

Hello all,

Thanks to Omski we came across some bugs in the launcher that were caused by the way the game was installed.

The reason behind this was that the old installer installs the game by default in C:\Program Files with admin rights. Making the launcher/updater also need admin rights in order to patch the game and returning with a big error in case it hadn't.

The new installer is made with NSIS and now allows you to select the folder you want to install it to. On top of that it will now also offer the option to create a shortcut on the desktop and will create a shortcut to the website in the start menu. All together again with an uninstaller included.

PATCHNOTES – Version 0.02

- Patch Delivery Testing

This patch is mainly pushed to test the patch delivery system.

The launcher should find the 0.02 version available on the server,
download it automatically, unzip and update the local game.
All this before making the Play Button available, please test this
functionality.

- Particle Effects

I’ve added a particle effect system to the game that will allow me to
add different kind of graphical effects to places, objects, items, etc.

- Simplified meshes for character model

Bythe has been drastically decimated in his mesh model. This was needed
In order to not get to performance issues in a later stadium of the game.

I have spotted a bug in the launcher: it is not automatically refreshing the html page containing the patchnotes from the webserver.

Please click on the text in the patch notes and press F5 on your keyboard to update the patchnotes from the server for the moment. I'm working on getting a new launcher out with one of the next updates.
