About PDXLAN

PDXLAN, a not-for-profit organization, was established in 2002 with it’s first event taking place in July of 2003. PDXLAN was founded by a group of avid PC-Gamers that wanted a large LAN party in the Portland, Oregon area.

Over the years PDXLAN has evolved into not just an event, but a community of generous gamers that have come to donate over $1,000,000 to local and national charities.

PDXLAN’s community is full of PC-hardware junkies, world renown case modders, and avid casual gamers who are focused on playing together for fun.

Typical PDXLAN events have three core parts: Contests, Tournaments, and Charity. PDXLAN events tend to give away over $100,000 in PC hardware prizes at each event.
