Welcome NTHWL! This is a private Steam group for those who have at least some history or affiliation with the Sat-com lab (Not The Hardware Lab) personnel, or their peers.

Team Fortress 2, Mann vs. Machine (TF2 MvM) was the original motivation for starting this group, mostly because TF2 MvM has us all playing on the same team. But MvM servers cannot be mixed with other TF2 variations. So for better or worse, we're currently using TF2.

We're not limited to playing just TF2 though – Our server alo runs CS and its variations as well as left For Dead 2.

LFD2 is Running

So I finally got the LFD2 server working (for the most part). Right now, I only know how to connect to it and play in "Campaign mode". The server will also support Versus, Survival, Scavenge, Team Versus and Team Scavenge modes but I don't know how to make them work yet.

Connecting to the server is a little different than what you might be used to:

Launch LFD2. If you don't have it, get it! I think you missed your chance to get it cheap - It's now back up to $20 again.
Select Play Campaign -> Play on Steam Group Server (there is no password, it's private to members of our steam group)
You should see our Server "Multiplay :: NTH..." listed in the server list. It might take a few minutes for the server to show up while the list is being refreshed.
Select "Multiplay :: NTH..." from the server list, then press "Join Game".
You will immediately be taken into the game where you will be greeted with our Message of the Day.
You will be playing with bots on your team. Each additional player that joins will replace one of those bots.

Server Down for a Little While

Our TF2 Server is down while I switch it over to play LFD2. Actually, I have switched it over, but I am having issues finding it in-game.
