What is Nexum?

Originally titled as Project Heroes, Nexum is a work in progress, fast paced, indie FPS game, inspired by many elements of other shooter games, combined into action packed gameplay. From being able to dodge bullets, rocket jump, run and parkour, or just play it simple. A huge planned roster of playable characters that offer unique playstyles, some of which are inspired by other games, providing options and familiarity to the player.

Update 13 Video is out! + Possible TDM event this month

Once I create an IndieDB article page regarding this update, I will post the link and also provide it in the comments.

Holidays may be over, though I am looking into hosting another TDM event this month. I'd like to host it on a day where most people will be available. The hosted event over the holidays took place on a day where lots of people were busy and/or unavailable. I'd like to gather info on a day where most people are available. If you're interested in joining, feel free to provide days of availability. Fridays and weekends preferred due to school semester starting again. Be sure to provide the time of availability and time zone. I will try to schedule a day based on the majority of availability.

Update 13 Quick Sneak Peek

I promised Update 13 would be released before the holiday has finished, which unfortunately isn't the case. The update video IS being worked on but requires more relevant footages to fill in the video. For those who are eager to see the new update, I have a sneak peek video (20 seconds long) which contains a clip which is part of Update 13.

The update video ended up bigger than I thought, so I'm still gathering some footages without reusing existing footages too frequently and to properly demonstrate the changes in the update.

Here's a quick breakdown of what's included in Update 13
-Stealth/Enemy Health Bar changes
-Movement System Changes
-New Weapon Mechanics
-Ninja and Sentinel
-Jump Pads

A feature that isn't mentioned in the future update video that did get updated into Nexum are team spawn barriers.

If you've played Nexum's most recent web player link, it includes all the new changes that will be mentioned in Update 13. The video will provide detailed breakdown of the changes.

You know, I should really get off my lazy arse and do something with this. Doom's been taking up practically all of my time, not to mention Rift being a four-day raidng schedule now.
