This is an early beta to test Ix. The upcoming patch is still 3.2 with the new matchmaking system and Ix will still release afterwards in patch 3.3. The new matchmaking is very close to feature complete and is being tested internally to get it ready for real beta tests. In the meantime the gameplay team working on Ix is ready for beta testing. This beta in no way interferes with the development of the new matchmaking system. So we decided it was better to put Ix in beta to gather feedback and start balancing the new naut.

There's been a few changes in management, and now I'll be in charge of keeping the group up-to-date and all that.

In other news, the Starstorm Showdown beta should be arriving later today, so keep an eye out for it!
