Johnny wa saikōdesu!

The Mayship is a carrier-class hover ship captained by Johnny and crewed by the Jellyfish Pirates. The Mayship has appeared in every incarnation of the Guitly Gear fighting series.

The Mayship is nearly 250 metres longs, 50 metres high, and 30 metres wide (not including wingspan). It has 112 cabins, only a fraction of which are lived-in by the current crew. It contains a large Galley and Mess, full bathroom and shower facilities, various weapon and equipment stores, as well as large compartments for cargo and vehicles.

The Mayship uses large turbine-propulsion systems on the wings and underside to hover and fly. These are powered by a small thermonuclear generator at the heart of the ship, and allow it to reach speeds averaging nearly 180 kilometres per hour. If it were ever destroyed, the resultant detonation would be catastrophic, with blast-power estimated at an eighth of Faust's world-destroying Instant Kill technique.


The Mayship was previously a hover-carrier belonging to the Zepp Military. Originally stolen from President Gabriel's fleet by Johnny, the ship was used as a haven for the "less fortunate" (mainly, young girls). It was May, as the first-mate, who named the ship, and who gives most of the orders while on it. Over the years it has gone through various make-overs (most notably the colour and grafitti), but can still be identified as being of Zepp-design in origin. It has also been the staging-ground for many and varied battles.

In the alternate timeline, May launched a suicide attack on Dizzy using the Mayship but failed to kill her.
