This Group is for fans and players of the total conversion mod for Alexander Total War, Lord of the Rings - Total War.

LOTR-TW is a Total Conversion for Alexander TW based on The Lord of the Rings trilogy, focused to recreate the epic battles seen in the movies, It has a complete Middle Earth map, from Harad to Forodwaith, and from Grey Heavens to Rhun, Fully customised cities like Minas Tirith on Battle and Campaign map, a few Historical Battles, like the Last Alliance, Battle for Helm's Deep, and Pelennor Fields, and some more about the Fellowship of the Ring.

This mod is much much better than Third Age from Medieval 2 because its more logical and realistic like:Gondor really dont use only militia :D

having issues with the mod. Installed both version 2 & 3. Start up and get issue with the chatfilter.san. Anyone know how to solve this one ?

I just got rtw alexander on steam and downloaded this mod for it, but I can't get it to work since I got the game on steam instead of a cd, any tips?
