"Don't be clanless! Be Lessclan!"

An Inactive, yet important part of Counter-Strike history.

Lessclan was founded in 2007 and became one of the Top 20 most active public server groups within the first year of its foundation. The Lessclan community hosted multiple servers for Counter-Strike 1.6, the final major software update the game received since it's first official release by Valve in 2000.

The community also partook in competitive gaming via E-Sports Entertainment Association League (ESEA), known for their Anti-Cheating software, which was later aquired by ESL (eSports). ESL is the world's largest esports company and the oldest professional esports organization that is still operational today.

Lessclan, along with a few other select communities during it's time, will be remembered by true counter-strike veterans as a pinnacle foundation to the e-sports organizations that we now know today.

This description may sound of false patriotism to some, due to the low member count, but that is merely an example of how small the esports communities really were back then.
