Hello again fellow gamers!

I am now also hosting a Space Engineers server.
To join the server, you'll have to join this Steam group first or else you will not be able to connect.
I configured it that way so that players can be controlled / regulated in a more strict manner, because it is possible for people to use in-game scripts that could lag or crash the server, and I'm not willing to sacrifice the scripting functionality, because that is one of my favorite aspect of the game.

Also, they released the latest Rust update last night, so the server was wiped and it is now hosting a 16sq/km map, instead of the previous 25sq/km.

ARK
As many of you may already know, the new expansion pack for ARK (Extinction) is coming in November, and I'm definitely going to host a server for it, but for the sake of conserving server resources, I'm going to remove The Center from the ARK cluster, since that is the least played map. So if you have anything on The Center, be sure te transfer all of your assets to another server before the expansion gets released in November. There's still a lot of time.

Rust
I will do a map wipe on the 5th of August, but player blueprints will be kept.
It seems that most people prefer the vanilla sized maps (16sq/km) so I will be changing to a smaller map.

Hi everyone.

As most of you may already know, I switched hosting service providers last month and I am more than satisfied with the new server.
The old server was running Windows and the new server is running Linux so unfortunately I cannot host the Dark and Light or Empyrion servers from it because they can only be hosted on Windows.

I decided to host the Empyrion server from my personal computer at home, but I will no longer be hosting a Dark and Light server - The game's player base has drastically diminished and even the modders seem to have lost interest in the game. If they ever roll out a dedicated server for linux, then I will continue to host the DnL server.

I recently started playing rust and since I still have a lot of server resources available, I decided to start hosting a modded server for it.

For those interested, the Rust server has 3x gathering rates, 3x smelting and cooking rates, Instant Craft, 5k stacking, clan support, Rust.io integration and a 25 sq/km map with 5 vehicle spawn points evenly spread across the map.
Since I'm still new to Rust, this server may undergo some changes during the early days as I get to know the game and interact with players.

Just a reminder that all the servers will be migrated to a new hosting provider on the 25th of June. I will initiate the cancellation of the hosting service with Afrihost on the 22nd, but they should keep the server up until the end of the month so hopefully there won't be any downtime between the 22nd and 25th.
The migration process may take quite a while so expect the servers to be down for a large part of the day, on the 25th.
The PixARK server is not affected by this since it is hosted with Bluefang.
The Empyrion server cannot be run on linux so I will be hosting that from my home PC until they roll out linux support for it.
Hopefully there won't be any issues during this process, but I will keep you guys posted.

Hey everyone.
I will be migrating my servers to another ISP because I have simply had enough of Afrihost with their downtime, unreliability and pointless apologies.
I have not yet settled for a new host but I'm looking at 1-grid (aka Gridhost) which is a former WebAfrica division and everyone speaks highly of them.
The migration will likely mean that all of the ARK servers, the Empyrion server, as well as the DnL server, will be down for most of the day when the migration takes place. (The Pixark server is with Bluefang so it is unaffected by this)
I do not have a fixed date on the migration yet, but it will probably only happen at the end of June, because my decision to move away from Afrihost only came yesterday, after my server was down for the 4th time in 3 months... and unfortunately the cancellation of services needs to happen on, or before the 24th of each month, so unless I can convince them otherwise, I am stuck with them until the end of June.
This is just to give you guys a heads-up on what is to come, but another announcement will be posted when the time for the migration draws near.
