Respected and beloved comrades representing the peasants' collectives,

Revolutionary Army—Land, Sea and Air,
Respected and beloved comrades representing all government ministries and departments:
We are gathered here today to honor the Seventeenth Anniversary of
the founding of the Communist Party of Kampuchea. I take this occasion to extend my greetings to the entire collectivist working class,
which has waged and is waging the struggle everywhere—at every
workplace, on every front—to contribute to the national defense, the
building up of the country, and the raising of the people's living
standard, all toward carrying out, with a high sense of revolutionary
responsibility, the glorious task which the Party has entrusted to them.
