The second-best place to go to kill some time on TF2!

In a world where people take a video game way too seriously, one man will rise to create a group – a group with the sole purpose of being a community where playing Team Fortress 2 in some silly way is not only welcomed, but also encouraged.

Welcome to Keep Team Fortress 2 Fun (or KTF2F for short), where TF2 players can play together indiscriminately. Here, it does not matter if you are a free-to-play player, a premium player, a squeaker, or what-have-you. No matter who you are or where you’re from, you are welcome to join in on our shenanigans. We believe you don’t have to be good at a video game or one who invests in one to be liked or accepted. We believe in not taking a game seriously that isn’t meant to be taken seriously. We believe video games should remain as a way to have fun, not as a sport. We believe that people shouldn’t be left out of password-protected servers to have a good time or join their friends. We are not a clan. We are not a movement. We have no mission. We’re just a group of people that wants to have some mindless fun.

The group’s administrator – Cereal Killer (name subject to change; it is suggested that you associate a nickname with him if you are Steam friends with him) – was inspired by LazyPurple and picklplayer33 - both of YouTube fame - to set up silly and unique ways to play. This group will revolve around Cereal posting an event to the group’s page giving details on what he wants to do and will provide an IP address to the server, encouraging others to join in.

Examples of such events include class rushes (i.e. every player on a team playing as the same class; in other words, a team of only Pyros or a team of only Heavies) or playing on empty St0rm.net servers (modded Mann vs. Machine servers that, among other perks, allow up to ten people to play and give infinite credits at the beginning of each wave).

In the latter case, people will be encouraged to participate in a one-class rush or everyone picking a different class. The tenth person could pick which class they want or, just as suggestions, play as a Demoknight (while the other Demo uses a more traditional loadout, such as one of the grenade launchers and one of the sticky launchers) or a Phlogistinator Pyro if the other Pyro is using a different flamethrower to extinguish teammates and push the bomb carrier back.

Cereal is open to ideas from other members. Please do not add him though solely to bring ideas to him or to give constructive criticism. Use the group chat to do that. This way, other members can know what’s going on and express their opinions.
