I’d like to welcome ManBearPig to the jump staff. Also I’ve deployed a bug fix to [TTL] that should have no effect on players but fixes a backend resource issue. As you may have noticed I haven’t been around as much lately but I’m still around to help run the server, please post any issues in the forum or have a staff member contact me.

I’d like to welcome Kapuchino and Siix to staff, also big thanks to thank Timmy for keeping the server up to date with the latest maps. Next on the todo list is working on some jppe features and making them available to the public server. One of the reasons we didn't have pyro jumping before was because the old plugin had requirements we coudln't/didn't want tor run on the server. I've rewritten the pyro++ plugin into a lightweight port that emulates the original functionality called pyro--. Its already on the server, let me know if you encounter any issues. This is going to be a community release(no one should have to suffer with the old version), after i'm sure its stable I'll make it publically available, i've already given it to the jumpit folks to try.

We're commited to making jump maps have integrity with regards to fair completions and timed runs, as such we've been working on 'fixing' maps with features/bugs that allow players to skip jumps/to the end of the map or gain advantages otherwise. We've been slowly adding these fixes to the server and today we finished our list of maps to fix. With rush's collboration we've also re-enabled bonus jumps on yucca and propel.

Firstly I'm happy to announce our 4 new staff members, though most of them aren't new: DeltaTroopa, iluswirl, SurNim, and dellort.

I'm also adding a plugin that I wrote yesterday called wrangwrang (for lack of a better name) to facilitate fair and convient engineer jumping with the wrangler. Sentries spawn instantly in a state that you must hit them with your wrench once, but once you do they're fully geared level 3 sentires. Teleporters are entirely disabled to prevent cheating, you can still build dispensers to build pogo when needed. You also get full metal after building any structure. I have plans to make a resupply for the sentry as well as giving the wrangler to people who don't yet have the unlock but still want to engi jump. This is the first public test so please make sure to report any bugs immediately.
