Hello Community,

here we have the new record for iron Cast #6 including footage of iECP Gunmn.
(Claiming Romero's Base in Mexican Town).

We were going through the topics of H1Z1 Serverwipe and Basebuilding.

Also we've talked about Community Events, where we are going to have non-game-based events in future as well. So setting the focus on us as a community instead of only playing one game exclusivly.

In recent months iECP has undergone rigorous training and practice. Both in the MergerSmash and in nightly internal ops, iECP continues to gain notoriety for our ability to fight against the odds and hold our own when outnumbered.

Then something changed… Woodmans. Woodmans, everywhere. Since the server merges (and lesser so the later nanite resource changes) the Planetside 2 battlescape has changed considerably. Where we would regularly fight 12v24 or 24v48, the common fight size is now sixty/seventy or more enemies.

The history of warfare has proved that a larger, less organised force can be severely damaged by a small, highly trained elite force – the lightning strike, surgical operations, etc. The same history though has shown that a small, highly trained elite force cannot fight a long war of attrition against a larger force. True victory comes when the larger army acts in unison with the elite unit. Each force has gaps in its capabilities, and thus iECC was born to plug those gaps.

iECC, or Iron Eclipse Casual, is a new outfit that operates in symbiosis with iECP, emulating iECPs origins in 2013. Multi-platoon operations were a staple part of iECP in 2013 before we trimmed down to the smaller dual-squad ops of late. Although in its infancy, iECC has already allowed us to return leading up to six or more squads per night (four squads iECC+open platoon, one to two squads iECP internal platoon). With this the Iron Eclipse collective has re-established our tactical reputation into a strategic one, becoming swiftly recognised as a driving force in nightly large scale operations.
