WARNING! A FRIENDSHIP HAS BEEN DETECTED

In recognition and celebration of the exemplary gathering of Team Fortress 2 Cosplayers at I-CON 31, 2012. I-CON might not allow anything remotely resembling a weapon (even in the VERY loosest sense of the word), but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be able to shoot, stab, gib, crit, sap, burn, and bonk the hell out of things with each other! Here's hoping we can all enjoy some Team Fortress 2, or any game really, together.

Hey everyone, Aja here popping in to say, I am sorry that I will most likely be unable to partake in summer silliness this time around: I am currently mooching off of a friend so that I am not homeless, and tbqh I am not sure that I will be able to stay where I am very much longer. Not to worry though, I am never without a plan, and I'll be alright :) However, I still want the group to continue in my absence and run normally, and I still want the meet-ups to go on as previously planned! I apologize at not being able to coordinate the events, but by all means, have a wonderful summer, enjoy all the TF2 you can stand, and if there is a group meet-up at some point, by god somebody take pictures and upload them! The group page both here and on Bookface were created to make it easier for everyone to plan these things out and share the shenanigans, so don't be shy mercenaries!

Have a wonderful 4th of July everyone!!! (Just stay away from the Mann Co. Fireworks)

I-CON 32 Postponed

(Announcement has been posted to Facebook, but posting here to make sure eveyone sees. - Aja)

As many of you might know, and e-mail went out just recently stating that I-CON 32 has been postponed indefinitely due to financial troubles, etc. I personally am quite bummed about this. I've been to I-CON every year for the past 6 years, and I was really looking forward to seeing you wonderful ladies and mentlegen again, and all the shenanigans that were to take place.

As such, I'd like to propose the following: In the event of the postponement and/or cancellation of I-CON 32 such that a number of our members are unable to attend, one of three things shall be done instead, on a date which we shall agree upon such that the maximum number of people is able to attend.

1) We relocate to Dave and Busters, in cosplay or otherwise, and simply have a nice party there. Dave and Busters, for those members who aren't familiar with it, is a huge indoor arcade and restaurant, and is quite a bit of fun. There are a few on Long Island, so I am sure we can find a location that works for everyone. http://www.daveandbusters.com/default.aspx

2) We invade a park on a day with nice weather and proceed to have a game or two of Capture Point, Capture the Flag, or anything else really.

3) Both 1 and 2 or, for that matter, any other suggestions!

I'd love to meet up before school starts, but I've been busy as hell with family matters lately. If other people are interested though you could try to set up a group meeting.

Hey fellow I-CON goers, I've planned to start group games again next monday (July 9) starting around 9pm. Hopefully this won't interfere with anyone's schedules. We'll start by playing the new sm_doomsday map and go find other maps to play depending on what the rest of the group is interested in. If you have any questions or concerns please contact me.
